NOVI — Sophomore quarterback Holden D’Arcy had a hand in all five Hartland touchdowns, leading the Eagles to a 35-14 victory over Novi Friday night. D’Arcy had two 1-yard touchdown runs to give Hartland a 14-0 lead midway through the second quarter. Novi cut the lead to 14-7 before halftime on an 18-yard pass from Josh Erno to Ein Mack. D’Arcy threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Zach Linfield and a 26-yarder to Logan Tobel in the third quarter, extending Hartland’s lead to 28-7. After a 25-yard run by Erno got Novi within 28-14 with 5:41 left in the game, the Eagles put it away on an 8-yard touchdown pass from D’Arcy to Tobel with 1:59 remaining. D’Arcy was 10-for-14 for 164 yards and three touchdowns. Linfield caught four passes for 89 yards and a touchdown, while Tobel reached the end zone with both of his catches.
